Flying Bobs, May, 1978
Photo by Seth Fox, Chadds Ford, PA Nikormat, Kodachrome 35mm This photo was taken near the New Castle Farmers Market, Hare’s Corner, about 5 minutes from Historic New Castle. It was back when the Strait Shows used to visit Wilmington. This trailer was parked behind some small rides and other amusements. I thought the juxstapositioning and the contradiction of the speed limit sign and the Flying Bobs emblazoned on the trailer was amusing. I also thought the colors in the light were sultry. As I remember it was misting at the time.
