| This Website has been a long time coming. We had planned to develop it in 1996, but Britannia.com, America’s Gateway to the British Isles, came first. After much hard work, Britannia has established itself as one of the top travel sites on the Web and in the process won over 45 internet awards in Europe, Australia and the US. It is visited by over 100,000 people a month and is growing at a rate of 24%. That accomplished, we thought it was time to focus a little closer to home, and to develop a quality guide to the Brandywine Valley, where we live and work. Our goal is to build a fast loading, attractive and useful guide that will be an information gateway for travellers and residents alike and provide an economical way for businesses to advertise their products and services. To reach our goal we must rely on you because the Web is not a top down medium. It’s a two way communication channel.
